NEW YORK, February 7, 2011– BGC Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ:BGCP) announced today that Louis Scotto has joined the Company as an Executive Managing Director in New York. Mr. Scotto was previously CEO of Tullett Prebon Americas, a post which he left in 2009.
Mr. Scotto previously served in the roles of CEO of Tullett Prebon and as Group Chief Operating Officer, as well as Chief Operating Officer, North America.
Mr. Scotto will work closely with Mark Webster, President and CEO of BGC Americas.
